Short answer first: there is nothing to download from the Welfare Benefits Board in the way people usually mean. Aswesuma has no official app, no installer, and no payment file. Any app in a store using the Aswesuma or WBB name is not from the board, and installing it will not help your benefit — at worst it puts your personal details in the wrong hands.

Everything the board offers online runs in your browser on its own websites. The beneficiary name lists are published on www.wbb.gov.lk and on iwms.wbb.gov.lk, where you search with the applicant's NIC number. Appeals and objections for the current list are filed on the e-services portal, eservices.wbb.gov.lk, between October 29 and November 11, 2026. Paper appeal and objection forms can be collected from Divisional Secretariat offices, and the board also posts forms on its website that you can print, fill in by hand, and hand in at the DS office before the deadline.

The download button on this page takes you to the board's official website, www.wbb.gov.lk — that is the safe starting point for every Aswesuma task: checking your name, finding the current notices, and reaching the e-services portal. Bookmark the official address and type it in directly when you can. Search results and social media posts sometimes point to copycat pages, and the real site always sits on the .gov.lk domain.
