Need to reach us about something on this site? The fastest route is the discussion section on this website. Leave a comment on the page your question is about and we will pick it up there. Corrections, missing details and suggestions for new guides are all welcome — if a payment date or an amount looks wrong to you, say so, and tell us where you saw the different figure.
Before you write, one honest limit: we are an independent information guide, not the Welfare Benefits Board. That means there are things we simply cannot do for you. We cannot look up your household's Proxy Means Test score. We cannot tell you why your name is not on the beneficiary list. We cannot accept an appeal or an objection, change a tier, open a bank account for you, or move a payment date. No message to this site can do any of those things, and anyone who claims they can do them for a fee should not be trusted.
For anything about your own Aswesuma status, go straight to the official channels. The board's e-services portal at eservices.wbb.gov.lk handles appeals and objections during the open window and carries the official forms. The beneficiary name lists are on www.wbb.gov.lk and iwms.wbb.gov.lk — you will need the applicant's NIC number to search. Your Divisional Secretariat office and your Grama Niladhari can help in person, and the WBB helpline 1924 answers questions by phone.
If your question is about this guide itself — a page that will not load, a link that points to the wrong place, a topic you want us to cover, like the December second list or bank-account letters — the on-site discussion is the right place. We read everything posted there and update pages when readers flag something out of date. Benefit information goes stale fast, and reader reports are a big part of how we keep the amounts and deadlines on this site accurate.
