WBB Gov LK _ Welfare Benefits Board - https://wbb.gov.lk

Please read this before you rely on anything here. This website, wbb-gov-lk.online, is an independent information guide about Sri Lanka's Aswesuma welfare benefit programme. It is not the official website of the Welfare Benefits Board (WBB), it is not run by the board, and it is not affiliated with the board, the Ministry of Finance, or any other Sri Lankan government body. The similar-looking name exists only because the guide is about the board's programme — nothing more should be read into it.

The only official online source for Aswesuma is the Welfare Benefits Board itself: www.wbb.gov.lk. Its e-services run at eservices.wbb.gov.lk, the beneficiary name lists also appear on iwms.wbb.gov.lk, and the board's helpline is 1924. If anything on this site ever disagrees with the board's own pages or a notice at your Divisional Secretariat office, the board's version is the correct one, every time.

We work hard to keep the facts straight — payment amounts, tier rules, list dates, appeal windows and payment dates are taken from board announcements and reputable reporting, and we update pages as new information comes out, including the first updated beneficiary list of October 2026. But benefit programmes change. Cabinet decisions alter amounts, deadlines move, and lists get revised. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that your household qualifies for Aswesuma, that a payment will reach you on a stated date, or that an appeal will succeed. Your entitlement is decided by the board's Proxy Means Test scoring and its own review process, not by anything written here.

We cannot act for you. This site does not accept appeals, objections, applications or documents, and contacting us does not count as contacting the board. Appeals and objections for the current list must reach the board between October 29 and November 11, 2026 through eservices.wbb.gov.lk or on paper at a Divisional Secretariat office — sending a message here instead could cost you the deadline.

Finally, a safety note. Aswesuma payments never require you to pay a fee, buy a card, or share bank PINs and passwords. Anyone asking for money to "release" a benefit is committing fraud. Report such approaches to the police and to the board on 1924.
